About ABEL Business Institute

ABEL Business Institute was founded to provide business owners with strategies, support, education, and guidance throughout the stages of their business development. Through years of hands on business experience, we have developed a systematic approach to the construction, growth, and maintenance of businesses; this approach is our methodology.

We have a passion for business development and we empathize with those who feel challenged, confused and unsure about the approach to their business. Our objective is to assist business owners through the process of establishing an effective plan, understand the methodology and implement an action plan to foster the growth and progression of their business.

Through extensive and objective analysis, we identify obstacles and set priorities by designing a plan of action that capitalizes on the strengths of your company and supports your weaknesses. In addition, we teach and implement various business tools that utilize principles and systems which we have created and mastered during our 25 years of business development.

About Ed Abel - Founder
Beginning with a skill, an idea and a $5,000 loan, Ed started his first company when he was 24 years old. After seven years, he built a $36 million organization with 585 employees. Following his initial success, Ed continued to build various multi-million dollar businesses. Over the course of this process, he began developing a systematic approach to the construction, maintenance, and growth of businesses—an approach that has become the philosophy and methodology of ABEL Business Institute. How We Do It:
  1. Create a business systemization process so that you can manage your business rather than have your business manage you.
  2. Construct a functional business plan with specific action steps to achieve your business goals and development.
  3. Compose a mission statement and a statement of desire, in order to develop a clear view of where you want to take your business.
  4. Establish both monthly and 1 to 10 year goals, which will become roadmaps to your success.
  5. Determine a workflow criterion to illustrate how each individual task affects your business as a whole, in order to allow for the seamless evolution of your business.
  6. Institute hiring and training standards to ensure the employment of like-minded and productive employees.
  7. Master a day-management system in order to efficiently and effectively maximize your daily productivity.
  8. Instate a time management system that assists you in balancing both your personal & professional responsibilities; ensure that the business can be realistically separated from family life. As a result, you will develop a balance that keeps you involved, satisfied, and productive.
  9. Implement a strategic Sales and Marketing program in order to grow your business, thus allowing you to become less reliant on your current customer base.
  10. Establish a corporate image and learn how to develop business relationships. Together, we will work on presentation skills, positioning strategies, unique selling propositions, networking skills, elevator speech, and actively differentiating your services from your competition.
  11. Solidify a cohesive Customer Service plan, so that you are in tune with your customers’ wants and needs—learn how to create the “WOW Factor”.
  12. Develop standardized reports for your accounting, production, and executive departments in order to accurately gauge the productivity and development of your business. You will learn to read these reports as ‘financial scorecards’ that paint a picture, which you will learn to interpret.
  13. Ensure your business model’s ability to support itself, so in the event that you are not present at any given moment, your business will continue to thrive.
  14. Focus on financial strength in order to manage growth and keep your business developing.
  15. Structure an Accountability System that will allow you to not only monitor your business’s development, but also solidify a task-management plan.
  16. Create your business based on solid business principles, which are both supported by structured business systems and facilitated by synchronized business processes.
